Castle Building Contractors is a well established company offering the complete range of building solutions.  From building new homes or commercial properties, to loft conversions and extensions, landscaping and the installation of new kitchens and bathrooms.

Castle Building Contractors, were established in 1985. We are a company that is experienced in all aspects of building, specialising in domestic extensions and general building alterations.

The partners are my brother and myself who both joined the building industry from school training as a bricklayer and carpenter respectively. After our training we went on to gain experience in all aspects of building and management before forming the partnership in 1985. Over the years we have built our reputation on being reliable, honest and able to produce work of a very high standard.

We are members of the Federation of Master Builders and all of our building work is fully guaranteed. We are covered by full Public Liability Insurance.

Company Strengths - on site at all times

Because we are a partnership of a bricklayer and a carpenter we are able to complete the majority of the work ourselves. This enables us to maintain our high standards as we do not rely on too many outside contractors. The sub contractors we use (plumbers, electricians, and plasterers) are people we know and have worked for us for many years.

We generally only work on one extension at a time and there is usually both of us on site at all times when there is work to be done. So the horror stories you hear of builders starting many projects at the same time and spending weeks away on them does not apply to us.

Competitive Estimates

Our policy on producing estimates is not to try and be the cheapest by perhaps specifying inferior quality materials. It is to allow for good quality products, charging competitive rates, detailing exactly what has been allowed for in our estimate and pricing it accordingly (not as some builders seem to do by submitting a cheap price but not allowing for many things and then charging these items as extra’s at the end of the work).

We detail our estimates as much as possible but obviously there are times when extra work is needed. This will be agreed at the time and a costing given for any extra work that you may require.

No Deposits

We do not take any money as a deposit and the first stage payment is only due once the work has commenced. We have equal stage payments at various times throughout the project depending on the size of the contract, with the balance payable on the completion of the work.
